Behind every project is a way of working. For us, that means being thoughtful, technical, and focused on what matters most, building things that are beautiful, work well, scale, and last. Below are a few of the values and habits that continue to guide our process.
We believe good design is practical, thoughtful, and always tied to real outcomes. Every project we take on is shaped by close collaboration, careful planning, and attention to detail. We care about the craft, whether it’s designing a startup dashboard, a global brand’s platform, or a marketing site. Design only works when it supports the user, the product, and the team behind it.
Design doesn’t happen in a vacuum. We’re technical, used to working closely with engineers, and fluent in the tools and details that bring design to life. We think about scalability, responsiveness, handoff, and real-world implementation from day one—because great design doesn’t just look good, it works.

Most of our work comes from referrals and long-term relationships. We’ve built a reputation by showing up with consistency, being easy to work with, and solving real problems. We stay flexible, transparent, and focused, always driving design forward while collaborating closely with broader teams.
Denorth is led by Eggert Ragnarsson, a US/Icelandic designer with a background in both product and brand. Starting out as a 25yo design professor in Florence, he later led design at TripAdvisor and helped shape the travel platform Bókun. His earlier work includes design for one of the world’s leading online cooking schools during his time at America’s Test Kitchen. At Denorth, Eggert has led projects for companies like Volvo and InsideTracker. His focus on clarity, usability, and execution defines how we approach every project.
